Be sure to take a few moments to register for this year’s District Council.  I was recently at a Staff Meeting at the District Office and learned that nearly all of the hotels are already full in Waxahachie.  However, there is a brand new LaQuinta that still has availability.  It is nice.  It just so happens that my husband and I stayed there during Fine Arts a couple of weeks ago.

Let me encourage you, as a music minister/worship leader to try to come to council this year.  I know that many of you are the ones that are expected to “hold down the fort” at home.  If you can, however, you should try to come to the Tuesday morning breakout sessions this year.  Aubrey McGowan of Hope Fellowship in Frisco and Brenda Thompson-Haney of Trinity Church in Cedar Hill will be our special guests for two music-related breakout sessions on Tuesday, June 8th with the first session being at 9:30 and the second at 10:45.  After that, we (worship leaders, musicians, etc.) will be having lunch together at The Chisholm Grill on the square where we have the upstairs area reserved.
