A North Texas District worship conference gives us the opportunity to network with those people we can directly relate to and associate with, sharing our thoughts, desires, resources, and tools with worship leaders and musicians within our own fellowship.  A smaller, more individualized conference will not only connect us with those who follow in our footsteps, forging out new worship ministries and growing teams where there previously there was none, but will also connect us with those who’ve gone before us and are now serving in larger, more established worship ministries.  Both of these connections (old/new, large/small) are valuable and necessary to a healthy fellowship, giving us an experience the Word describes as “iron sharpening iron.”
